Emmanuel is delighted to announce that as part of BBC Radio 3's celebration of the piano, "The Poetry of the Piano", he took part in a BBC masterclass with presenter and broadcaster David Owen-Norris. Following his popular and well received recital last year, Emmanuel will be returning to the Wesley Methodist Chapel on St. John Street, Chester. The programme is to include famous works by Bach, Beethoven and Chopin.
Didsbury Art Gallery performance as part of "Platform for Young Musicians", School Lane, Manchester, 3pm Sunday, 10th February.
"Platform for Young Musicians" is a new venture designed to showcase the best of Manchester's classical talent. Manny is very much looking forward to returning to Castle Howard to play for visitors of the beautiful house. Castle Howard frequently tops the "must see" list for North Yorkshire tourist itineraries, and was the setting for the film, "Brideshead Revisted". The Howden Minster concert series takes place every first saturday of the month between April-September, in order to raise money for the Howden Minster organ fund. Emmanuel will be featuring alongside talented musicians from the area for a evening of fantastic musical entertainment which presents the vocal music of George Gershwin alongside one of Bach's most famous keyboard works, as well as beautiful French flute music. The Derwent Lions is hosting an evening of summer music to support the work of the charity, "Riding for the Disabled." Emmanuel will be performing a 20 minute variety solo recital as part of the evening, which will include music by Mozart, Debussy and John Barry.

Manny will be taking part in a fantastic evening of music and dance by accompanying talented young singers and instrumentalists from Alderley Edge in the beautiful Festival Hall. Emmanuel is looking forward to returning to his old school in the East Riding in order to give a workshop to young, talented musicians from the area. Thicket Priory is a beautiful Carmelite Monastery situated in the Yorkshire village of Thorganby, a 20 minute drive south of York. In the first half of the concert, Emmanuel will be accompanying two talented Yorkshire Young Musicians Katherine Raven (violin) and Katie Wood (soprano). The second half sees Emmanuel performing solo piano works by composers such as Haydn, Rachmaninov and Gershwin.
